Sofia Asbjørnsen

Sofia embarked on her musical journey at the age of five, commencing harp lessons under the tutelage of the esteemed harpist Daphne Boden FRCM HonRAM ARCM Premier Prix Brussels Royal Conservatoire. Her dedication and talent led her to the Royal College of Music, where she further honed her skills through participation in masterclasses conducted by Marisa Robles.

Today, Sofia has established a dynamic career as both a soloist and orchestral musician. Among her notable achievements is a performance at the 60th birthday celebration of HRH Prince Charles. Additionally, she played a pivotal role as one of the accompanying harpists during Dizzee Rascal and Florence and the Machine's memorable performance at the 2010 Brit Awards Ceremony.

Beyond her performances, Sofia is deeply involved in directing her thriving music school and agency, The Asbjornsen School of Music, showcasing her commitment to nurturing the next generation of musicians.
