
Sofia Asbjørnsen


Sofia began her study of music with harp lessons from the age of five with renowned harpist, Daphne Boden FRCM HonRAM ARCM Premier Prix Brussels Royal Conservatoire. She was accepted to further her studies at the Royal College of Music where she regularly took part in masterclasses under Marisa Robles.
She now has a buzzing career as a solo and orchestral musician.
To list a few of the venues Sofia frequents: Hampton Court Palace, The Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Palace, St. John's Smith's Square, The Swiss Re, and many more.
Amongst her career highlights is her performance for the 60th birthday celebration of HRH Prince Charles at the Royal Opera House. She was also one of the accompanying harpists in Dizzee Rascal and Florence and the Machine's performance at the 2010 Brit Awards Ceremony.
Aside from being a harpist Sofia is also an avid pianist and enjoys performing a wide range of genres and styles.
When not performing, she is busy directing her flourishing music school and agency - The Asbjornsen School of Music.
